• Dolly carts – Also known as hand carts or hand trucks, these are great for moving multiple boxes simultaneously. It’s as simple as stacking the heaviest box at the bottom to the lightest at the top. With the weight stacked evenly, just tilt the cart back onto its wheels, and you’re on your way! 
• 4-Wheel hand carts – When something bigger is needed, these waist-high flat carts are great for bigger and heavier items. These carts are available for purchase or rent from local moving companies or hardware stores.    

• Ramps – Moving over door sills and curbsides can be added obstacles on move day. Getting ramps can smooth the door sills and make it easier to drag or wheel carts and furniture across, making dealing with curbs smoother and easier.  

• Floor sliders – These small, puck-shaped disks are perfect for when you need to move heavier pieces of furniture. Simply place one slider under each leg of the furniture, and the furniture will glide easier, saving your back, legs, and patience!
